DeeDee and James Lavinder spent the winter of  2000 in Africa. (Dee Dee was Fran's supervisor at Morning Star the previous summer)

They were having trouble sharing photos with everyone on their mailing list as their adventure progressed so we hosted their photo album.

Years later and we're still getting visits to those pages!

We're in Yuba City, CA staying at Steve's Mom's home ... she has a spot in her back yard. We've got hookups and DSL for internet access ... it's nice to have real internet access!

Steven has been working on web site updates ... mostly on RVbasics.com since it's the site that earns a few dollars for us.

This year we spent Christmas and New Years in Yuba City. Usually after the holidays we head south but Steve's Mom has health problems and Fran had a couple of doctor appointmnents too, but we will try to head south at the end of February.

We're enjoying being in Yuba City... visiting with relatives and friends. And of course our grandchildren Katie and Gavin. But will be glad to be headding south.
