This travel trailer was homemade by his Great Uncle Roy Fletcher back in 1930. Trailers like this one were built by Uncle Roy for Tom Mix when he began his traveling circus.

Old fifthwheel trailer for Tom Mix CircusThis photo of a fifth wheel trailer was scanned from an article written by O.C. Robinson for Frontier Times Magazine. Mr. Robinson was a band member who traveled with the Tom Mix Circus. We believe that Uncle Roy's contract describes this trailer. Also, the trailers in the background look similar to the one in the photo above.
