Steven & Fran's Annual Report for
2006-2007
Part-2
May
In May Son Drew decided he and Fran would attend Grandson Cameron’s graduation in Lancaster, California. What fun that was. Time was limited by Drew’s work schedule.
We flew to Burbank, from Sacramento Thursday morning, rented a car, drove to Lancaster, attended the graduation that evening, and stayed overnight at Mark and Janette’s house.
The next day we watched Cam do some jumping.
Yikes!
Drew would like to have given it a try but decided against it. Then they all rode somewhat more safely... Cam, Brad, Drew and Mark. Then back to Burbank to catch a plane home.
Summer
Summer came with long seesions of trip digit heat and lots more birthdays. Including grandson Gavin's first birthday.
We took Steven's Mom to dinner a lot and to a couple of plays at the local Acting Company playhouse.
Steven also spent some time updating our website, especially RVbasics.com and he also sold three of the mountain dulcimers he made on ebay.
We enjoyed being with the grandkids, family and frinds but a case of hitch itch was beginning to take hold.
September
By September we had hitch itch big time and headed south as soon as Glenn and family returned from their vacation in Disneyland. Our first stop was just a few miles south of Yuba City at Thousand Trail Lake Minden.
A walnut orchard near Thousand Trails.
In Sacramento we visited the Towe Auto Museum which had a special exhibit of old recreational vehicles.
The whole museum is very interesting and anyone who likes automobiles would enjoy what they have on display.
