Our Truck & Fifthwheel in the middle of the RVClub.com GT
at the Delta Isle Resort, California Delta

November at Delta Isle RV Resort in the California Delta near Rio Vista. We were there for an RV Club get together. We had a great time visiting and potlucking with about 25 of our fellow club members.

After the GTG we headed south on Highway 5 to Santa Nella and the San Louis RV Resort. We spent four days there gathering information and taking digital photos and video in preparation for updating and expanding the park's web site.

We upgraded our Thousand Trails membership to Platinum which now allows us to stay at NACO parks so we decided to spend some time at Lake Minden before returning to Yuba City for the holidays.

After the holidays we spent a couple of days in Boron CA. and four days visiting with Fran's Son Mark and family in Lancaster CA.

We stayed at the Thousand Trails park in Las Vegas for a week while we toured Lake Mead, Hoover Dam and Valley of Fire as well as downtown Las Vegas.

From Las Vegas we moved south to Spirit Mountain RV Park in Mohave Valley, AZ just across the river from Needles, CA. a Ten day stay there allowed us some 'on line' time to catch up on email website work.

On Monday March 11, we moved to the CRA park in Havasu City. We visited with friends who were also staying there and toured the city.

From Havasu City we moved on to River Island State Park along the Parker Strip were we stayed three days.

The rest of March was spent at Rambln' Road RV Resort in Hope Arizona. We always enjoy staying at Rambln' Roads and wish we could have stayed longer but the first of April found us at North Ranch, the Escapees park, in Congress, AZ for the wood carvers get together.

Our group of 45 wood carvers took over the activity center but as Escapees do we were welcomed by the park's residents. We all had a great get together and plans are to meet back there again next year.

From North Ranch we went to Yuma, AZ for three days where we stayed at Friendly Acres RV Resort. We visited with Buddy and Gayle Lee and Gale took Fran to Algadones MX so she could get some cheap prescription drugs. Fran found that eyeglasses were available and that we could get them the same day so she and I returned that afternoon and I got two new pair.

From Yuma we headed north to Lancaster, CA for another visit with Mark and family. During our visit we all went to see the Anaheim Angels play the Oakland As. It was my first pro baseball game and we all had a good time.

We took the house with us to Inyokern, CA for a long weekend (Thu - Sun) to attend the Air Show and Balloon Festival. Mark and the boys came up Friday evening but had to go home Saturday around noon to attend a wedding. They missed more than they saw but it was fun having them there.

Having our house parked close to the activities was great. We didn't have to leave the house to see most of the action. Except for the wind, which was about the worst we've experienced, we enjoyed the air show and we're glad we went.

From Lancaster we traveled to our home park Royal Oak Resort in Kingsberg for three days and then to San Luis RV Resort in Santa Nella.

We were back in Yuba City the first of June and Fran was soon back working for Morning Star Trucking as a dispatcher. We were both looking forward to next winter.
